Onelog installation requirements
Windows Server Requirements
The Onelog Local Server requires the following:
- Microsoft Windows 2016 / 2019 / 2022 Server with all the latest Service Packs and updates (32-Bit or 64-bit). Recommended 2019 64bit.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (minimum version required)
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) with ASP.NET installed and enabled
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 / 2017/ 2019/ 2022 (including the free Express Editions*) with the latest Service Pack, installed in Mixed Authentication Mode.
- Microsoft Azure SQL
- An Internet connection to sync scripted resource definitions and Onelog Mobile configuration (this can be via a proxy server)
* Microsoft SQL Express Editions can be used but they do not include SQL Server Integration Services and cannot be used as a Onelog data store if Client-Matter chargeback is required. They are also limited in capacity.
Recommended Windows Server Specification
- 4 core 3 Ghz or better
- 8 GB RAM minimum 16GB RAM or better recommended
- 100 GB free disk space (variable - SQL event data storage)
Virtualised servers are fully supported.
This is a minimum specification for 1400 concurrent users; we will consult with you regarding the sizing for your implementation.
Windows Client Software Requirements
The Onelog Client requires the following:
- Desktop environment - Microsoft Windows 10 / 11
- Terminal Server environment 2012 / 2016 / 2019
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (minimum version required)
- Compatible Browser – Internet Explorer 11* / Firefox / Chrome / Edge (an extension is required for each browser)
*IE support is available but no longer being developed as this is an end-of-life product.
Mobile App Requirements
The Onelog Mobile App requires the following:
- iOS 15.0 and above on iPhone/iPod/iPad
- Android v10 and above on Phone / Tablet
- Windows 10/11 x86 / x64 / ARM on Desktop / Tablet
- MacOS 11.0 or later
